New Doors!

We spent the day in Annemasse in our favorite DIY store, La Boite à Outils (The Toolbox)where they were having this big rebate day. You could earn 25 percent store credit on all of your purchases made today. We had been admiring these pre-hung, 4 panel, pine doors in their stock for some time now, and we needed to buy a door for our new downstairs w.c. (coming soon...). The price was right and there was the rebate, so we grabbed it.

It looked so good in the house when we got home, that Seb hurried up and drove all the way back to the store to buy all six doors for our entire house while the rebate was still on! Fortunately they have store credit. Now we have all the interior doors for the house and they all match. And with the rebate system we earned about 130 euros (170 dollars) on the purchase.

We're probably a little overexcited but you see, now we can really begin to envision our future bedrooms and bathrooms. Nothing like tangible objects to nourish a dream!
