Home sweet ...
Well it's been a few weeks now since our return home to France. Excuse the absence but there was vacation and then a return to my faithful computer which had a very sad dramatic and stubborn crash. I was long overdue for a new system anyway. As Seb said one too many times "there are only so many baby pictures this computer can hold!" What can I say but I love my baby!
We're back to projects, projects, projects. The house is full of them. As winter approaches most of the projects involve the usual rolling out of insulation in the attic and the stuffing of drafty corners. We're seriously considering the installation of the fireplace this Fall.
The house looks better than ever though. The kitchen works and we're really happy with the opening and the feeling of space we got from it. We aren't so pleased with the placement of the w.c. It's really compromised our dining area which isn't so big to begin with. We are thinking about relocating the w.c. yet again, or at the very least relocating it's entrance to the other side. All of this is best explained in pictures which I will add soon.

And of course there was the task of emptying the suitcases of all those goodies you bought at Lowes!
It's good to "see" you again! I've enjoyed reading your blogged and I'm fascinated with your home and what your doing to it. Can't wait to see pics!
