Progress is a dusty word
Looking at old photos of the house I found these pictures of what the upstairs bedroom used to look like. The work went quickly once we dug our heels in. The hardest part was the removal of old plaster and concrete with a chisel and hammer. Lots of smashed fingers! I only hope that the rest of the upstairs will go this well. Right now it looks about as bad as this.

And here is the same exact spot as it looks today. That's another temporary wall there, papered in blue. Look closely and you'll see that we even have a temporary door in the wall, nifty!
