Surprise! it's all a big joke honey

I'm not sure what's been going on up yonder over my head for the last three days, but it doesn't look much different upstairs at all. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the target of one of those practical jokes with the hidden camera. You know send a bunch of pretend workers with funny accents, pour dust on her head when she's in the kitchen, capture all those curses she mutters on a hidden mic, fill up her little bathroom with dust again right after she cleans it. Watch as she scratches her head each time she goes upstairs and sees that no progress has been made.

Head Honcho contractor seem obsessed with this one wall. He's been hacking at it for two days now. He has deemed it unsafe and unstable. So, this is where a lot of the kitchen dust is coming from as he attempts to dig out the old stones one floor above my stove. I'd wager a bet that this wasn't in the estimate either. Three extra days of digging out a wall? Probably not. Let's just hope he considers that part of the territory when you renovate these old houses, otherwise we're going to be in for lots of financial surprises.
