Um oh yeah and there's going to be a lot of dust

...and rocks! Little cement rocks, and rather big cement rocks are raining down on the liveable first floor at very regular intervals here through the cracks in our ceiling boards. I am certainly no stranger to dust trust me, but usually I can at least complain about it because you know it's Seb doing it. Besides he knows all the "holey" zones and he usually covers them. In this case I just have to deal with it and I can't complain at all because I get the distinct feeling the contractors would rather I weren't here at all. This is the most dust ever too and it just doesn't stop. After yesterday's cleanup my tiny little bathroom/wc is again piled up with rocks and dust this morning (see pics) and I haven't even been able to brush my teeth yet.
The contractors arrived this morning at 6:30...argh! I can't complain because hey they are timely and of course hard working and who in their right mind would complain about that, I mean honestly I ask you! Well, I suppose probably someone whose baby fell asleep at midnight after a three hour on-again off-again crying jag. And maybe the same person who had to clean her entire house afterwards when the baby finally fell asleep. And then she had to carefully sweep the bathroom with a whisk broom not a vacuum (don't want to wake up baby after all), and mop and pick little cement rocks out of her toothbrush holder. And then the person didn't fall asleep until nearly two because of all that bustling about. Yawn.
After they get the slab upstairs laid it should all be much better and we can finally be dust free down here on the first floor but until then, land-sakes we are in a dusty prison and there's not a nary we can do about it!
